Design Your Concept
01.
Make your design for knitwear manufacturing
You can draw inspiration from current fashion trends, customer preferences, brand identity, and creative ideas. Create sketches, digital illustrations, or graphic designs to visualize the concept and generate the tech pack. A tech pack typically encompasses all aspects of the clothing, here’s what you can include in it:
In compliance with the confidentiality agreements (NDA) that safeguard the detailed tech packs of our clients, we offer three illustrative examples of tech packs from Techpacks.co (PDF files).
- Technical Drawings: Show front and back views, including any design variations.
- Grading: Specify the grading details for different sizes and tolerances.
- Materials and Components: Provide information on fabrics and components (buttons, zippers, etc.).
- Construction Details: Include details on seam types and stitching techniques.
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Table: List the main fabric, secondary fabric (lining), thread, trims, closures, labels, and packaging components.
- Quantities: Specify the quantities needed for production.
- Labelling Expectations: Outline requirements and expectations for labeling.
- Packaging Expectations: Describe specific packaging requirements and expectations.
- Delivery Date Expectations: State expectations regarding delivery dates.
02.
Merchandising your design
We will work with you to define the technical specifications for merchandising, including details of label printing(woven label, washing label), tags, branding elements, quantity/size, colors, care instructions, and packaging design.
03.
Define the textiles and source the materials
Our textile expert Miss Liu boasts years of industry experience, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. We assist you in making informed decisions about fabric selections.
Our fabric selection is based on various factors, including yarn count, density, and weight characteristics, as well as quality standards such as color fastness, pilling/abrasion resistance, tear, and tensile strength. We also take into consideration the stability of the fabric during specific types of garment washing, the appearance and feel of the fabric, and the environmental characteristics of the fabric.
We collaborate with local textile suppliers to source the materials needed for developing your knitwear.
